What if there was a ‘secret society,’ a group of people that many heard rumors about, but no one could ever prove existed. A society that was comprised of only the most prestigious and intelligent-- a special club--and to join this society you had to solve a series of puzzles within the city in a specific amount of time.
Well good news for you! The Society does exist, and you and your team have been chosen to apply to the world’s most distinguished secret society, but you must show that you have what it takes. Those who are a part of ‘The Society’ have all successfully completed the journey that you are about to embark on.
This 90 minute outdoor experience will be a test of both brains and intuition. Using only your surroundings and what is provided in your backpack, you will need to solve a series of hands-on puzzles and find certain destinations to finish your mission. For every puzzle solved you will accumulate a certain number of points, and to be inducted into The Society you will need to achieve a specific score.
Only the elite ever complete the challenges set before them. Maybe you will be one of the few...but only time will tell.

WHAT IS THIS EXACTLY?
How is it different from a traditional escape room? The Society is an outdoor adventure, similar to a scavenger hunt or puzzle quest. Your team will have up to 90 minutes to complete a series of puzzles and tasks to complete your secret mission. Instead of spending an hour in a single space, like you would in a traditional escape room, you will walk (or run if you dare!) around the beautiful historic downtown Goldsboro during your experience. All reservations are private bookings, so gather your team and purchase your tickets!

WHAT AGES CAN PLAY?
The game itself will be geared towards ages 10 & up, but all ages are welcome! Children 8 and under are free with a paying adult. Please do keep in mind the game will take place on sidewalks of busy streets downtown and you will be responsible for your child’s safety. You must accompany your children during the game. Our staff will not be going with teams during this game.

CAN I BRING KIDS?
Yes, The Society is a family-friendly game and it makes a great activity walking around beautiful downtown Goldsboro together! While strollers are also allowed in all areas of the game play, other wheeled devices are not. The game is intellectually geared towards ages 10&up, but we will have a Bingo game card for younger kids to enjoy while they walk around with you.

DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR MY CHILD TO COME?
Kids 8 and under are free with a paying adult.

HOW PHYSICAL IS THIS GAME?
The game covers about 6 city blocks and averages 1.2 miles of walking. This can be done at a comfortable pace and still be within the 90 minutes, if you solve the puzzles at a normal speed. All participants should be able to walk/stand for up to 90 minutes. Strollers are allowed for smaller children.

· A charged smart phone (at least 1 per team)
· Umbrellas (if applicable)
· Water (if you need it- weather depending)
· Drivers License or valid ID of at least one adult

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Don’t forget the rain gear if needed!

WHAT SHOULD I NOT BRING WITH ME?
Part of the game will be played in areas where scooters, bikes, skateboards and wheelie shoes are prohibited so please leave those at home. Walking feet and strollers are all that are allowed.

WHY DO I NEED A VALID ID?
In order to send teams out on their own adventure with proper equipment, we need to monitor inventory and ensure its safe return. An ID will be safely held at the front desk during your gameplay and returned upon checkout after an inspection of your equipment, assuming all items are present and undamaged. Your party will be financially responsible for any replacement and repair fees if due to intentional harm, neglect or theft. Please note that you will NOT be held liable for normal wear and tear on game items (up to staff discretion). You will have a book bag with you during the experience to keep up with your items and an easy process for managing these items will be shown to you upon arrival.

WILL THERE BE ALOT OF WALKING?
The game is designed for you to be able to explore a few blocks of the downtown area. While it is not a whole lot of walking, there is some traveling from place to place.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
You will receive a few backpacks with locked compartments. As you travel from place to place you will be solving different puzzles that will ultimately help you to unlock those compartments. As the game progresses you will gather more information and eventually complete your mission.

WHAT ABOUT WEATHER?
Keep in mind this is an outdoor event, much like a concert, and we know how unpredictable North Carolina weather can be. Unless the weather forecast 24 hours before game time shows more than a 70% chance of rain, a heat index over 105F; or temperatures below freezing during the time of your game, changes cannot be made to the reservation. Decisions will be made at the 24 hour mark if needed, and assessed again by our staff at a minimum of 2 hours before game time. If we decide that the weather makes it unsafe to play we will reschedule your experience. Many have endured spotty light showers and had a successful time so bring those umbrellas and rain jackets if needed! We also have complimentary ice cream and cold sodas to reward you after your game, which will help you cool off!

LESS PEOPLE ARE COMING NOW CAN I GET A REFUND?
All games are privately booked and time slots reserved specifically for your team. Therefore we are unable to refund any no-shows. We are also unable to make any modifications to your reservation without 48 hours notice, unless it is to add more participants to your party. Any cancellations after that will not be refunded.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Each ticket is $20 with a minimum of 4 players and up to a maximum of 8 players. Please contact us for larger parties.
